I like to know where my kids are at all times. I also like to give them some freedom to what they like to do but if they do the wrong thing then they know that they will lose alot of things. I would say I'm an extreme version of a Democratic Parent. I try very hard to involve my kids in family decision making and teach them how to think for themselves. Mind you, it's hard to stay in the third category and I find myself sometimes veering towards Authorative Parenting.
